BE AWARE OF HOW MUCH SUGAR OR SALT IS IN YOUR MEAL

Salt and sugar make food taste great and will tell your brain to keep eating even when you are full.

ALTER YOUR TENDENCY TO CHOOSE COMFORT FOODS.

In times of stress, we often opt for our favorite unhealthy comfort food to make us feel good. Taking a few minutes to pause or go for a walk has been shown to be an effective way to calm your mind and make a more mindful decision on whether you are actually hungry or if you are just making a decision based on emotional stress. You will find that by practicing mindful eating, healthy eating habits will fall into place and become easier to adopt.

TRY COOKING YOUR MEALS

People find cooking to be incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. It also helps your eating choices because you know what is going into your food!
